Grants
One of the goals of the NRS is to promote networking and scientific interaction among national researchers and clinicians in the field of Respiratory Medicine. National symposia on specialized topics could strengthen ties between researchers and help the scientific community to flourish and promote activities that target new and unexplored research areas within the respiratory field.
As a respiratory scientist, it is not always easy to obtain funding for travel to international Symposia or Conferences outside the main respiratory field. To promote unconventional thinking and innovation in respiratory medicine, the NRS supports young investigators who are NRS members to travel to non‐respiratory high quality scientific meetings with a travel grant of maximum €1250.
