Conferences & symposia 

The NRS has the objective to organize and facilitate conferences and symposia. This is important as it brings scientists all around the Netherlands together and may lead to more collaboration and synergy in research. Several symposia have been organized for many years now and have proven to be successful, e.g. Young Investigators Symposium (YIS) and the Advanced Technologies Symposium (Formal Models Symposium). Other symposia and conferences have been organized more on an incidental basis and comprise various topics such as Chronic Fatigue or Life Long Lung (LLL). The Annual Conference of the NRS is the 2-day "Dutch Lung Congress" held yearly before the summer holiday starts.
