The Platform Animal models in Pulmonary Research of the Netherlands Respiratory Society (NRS) will organize its 8th symposium on Friday, October 12th 2018 in Utrecht (David the Wied building, M2.01, Universiteitsweg 99, 3584 CG Utrecht, de Uithof). Our aim is to optimize the use of experimental animal models in lung research and to stimulate and facilitate collaborations between research groups in academia and industry. Our keynote speakers are Professor Dr. Rory E. Morty, Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research and University of Giessen and Marburg Lung Center, Germany and Dr. Fabio F. Stellari, Chiesi, Parma, Italy. At present the platform is working on the program for this year and invites all PhD students and post-docs involved in lung research with a link to animal models to give a stimulating presentation on their exciting research. Please contact Gerry Wagenaar if you are willing to give a presentation at our symposium. If you want to attend the meeting please register using the button below.
