Dutch Lung Congress 2021

On the 17th and 18th of June 2021 the NRS, in collaboration with the NVALT and Lung foundation Netherlands, will organize the Dutch Lung Congress. This meeting will build on the success of the scientific collaboration within the former annual lung meeting (Longdagen). The Dutch Lung Congress aims to facilitate updating the field about lung science, to cross fertilize science opportunities in the Netherlands, and to stimulate networking. It will provide an opportunity to bring together everyone interested in lung science: basic and translational researchers, clinical researchers, patients, carers, industry, policy makers, etc.

This year the Dutch Lung Congress will be organized as a fully online meeting. The program will be mainly plenary, but there will be a parallel session on the NPL (Dutch National Programme for Respiratory Research), providing an update on the progress of the projects that evolved from the activities during the first round and on the second phase of the NPL and a parallel session on the mentor program of the NRS. The science presented by the participants from submitted abstracts will be another highlight of the meeting. The best abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation, the others will be presented as a digital poster with interactive discussion. Also, there will be multiple awards relating to the presentations. The platform for the meeting will also facilitate individual networking between participants in a virtual coffee room.

The abstract submission is now closed. We are looking forward to seeing you in June for great scientific discussions and networking.
