Dutch Lung Congress 2027

The Dutch Lung Congress is an annual Congress organized by the NRS, in collaboration with NVALT, Longfonds and SKL aims to present the cutting-edge developments in lung science to individuals involved in pulmonary research and foster cross-disciplinary conversations to facilitate novel scientific prospects.

In addition to its outstanding scientific program, the DLC also provides a fantastic opportunity to connect and network with fellow colleagues

NRS Mentorship lunch: Friday 5 February 12:30-13:30

All PhD students, post-docs and early career clinicians participating in the DLC to are welcome to sign up for the NRS Mentorship lunch, organized at the Van der Valk hotel.

This networking event during the lunch break offers young investigators a unique opportunity to get to know a more senior researcher who can help with specific questions related to career development. Such as (but not limited to):

·        How do I achieve specific academic goals?

·        How do I combine my clinical tasks with research?

·        What is the best timing and way to take leadership over my career?

·        How do I tackle work-life balance?

·        What is the best way to enhance networking qualities?

·        Can anyone help me with writing grants? Or networking within the field for a postdoc (abroad)?

Cost of participation is for free, but registration is required.

Evening Pubquiz!

Join us for a fun and relaxed evening of trivia, drinks and good company!

Cost of participation is 20 euro for the activity including drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks). Registration is required.

The following fees apply according to your memberschip and function. Below are the early bird fees: 

NRS Member /Longfonds Member

*Note: To register under the NRS Member category, you must have a valid NRS-ERS membership at the time the event begins.

You can register for the event in advance, even if your current NRS-ERS memership is for 2026. Please note that NRS-ERS membership follows a calendar year (January-December), and membership renews each January, regardless of the date you joined.  A valid 2027 membership will be required at the time of the event. The NRS-ERS membership fee is 90 euro. Become a member.
