Call for initiatives to develop human measurement models

The 'Samenwerkende Gezondheidsfondsen' (SGF) and 'Topsector LSH' (Life Sciences & Health), in collaboration with ZonMw and NWO - domain 'Technische en Toegepaste Wetenschappen' (TTW), make available €3,2 million of PPS-fees to stimulate the development of new and better human measurement models for medical research.

World No Tobacco Day

This year's 'World No Tobacco Day' (31st May) campaign of the WHO focuses on the harm to lung health caused by tobacco smoking. The ERS Advocacy Council Chair, Professor Jørgen Vestbo, explains the importance of tackling the tobacco epidemic and supporting smoking cessation in a video. Today (28th May) at 15:00 you can join a twitter live chat organized by the ERS and the ELF on quiting smoking. You are also encouraged to share moments that 'take your breath away' via the WHO organized action to increase awareness for this important topic.

Questioning the validity of air quality standards in Europe and the US, the ERS developed a factsheet debunking key myths and misconceptions about air pollution. Registration fee "Longdagen" 2019 - Party on Tuesday April 9th
