Vacancy MD Research Fellow at UCSF

General January 2020

The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) has a vacancy for a MD fellow on a translational research project. The position arises because of a recently funded program project grant in which a UCSF team that is led by Prof. John Fahy is investigating mechanisms of persistent of type 2 inflammation in patients with type 2-high asthma.

Richard Locksley is a key immunology collaborator on this grant. Its a great project for an MD fellow interested in leveraging his/her MD skills but also learning new skills in airway biology, clinical science, and data analysis. Funding can be provided for this at UCSF and there would be an option to get formal masters level training in the form of a UCSF masters degree in clinical science.
